How They Eat

Signs & Symptoms
  • Leaves look “bleached”, silvery or white; rusty discoloration on foliage

  • Some plants drop their leaves

  • Up close, black spots on leaves

  • Bud drop on flowers such as Hibiscus, Gardenia, Anthurium
How to Fix the Problem
  • Remove affected plants & debris on ground or cut off affected parts

  • When spraying, you must spray thoroughly and spray the ground as well. Thrips move to the ground and part of their lifecycle is in the soil
